The library of the Hans Em Faculty of Forest Sciences, Landscape Architecture and Environmental Engineering dates back from 1947, when it existed as a part of the library within the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry. In 1975, with the separation of the Faculty of Forestry as an independent faculty, a separation of the library has been made too.
The UKiM FoF library is among the professional academic libraries and here you can find a scientific and professional literature in the fields of forestry and environment. Within the library holdings of about 8,000 titles of books and 200 titles of magazines you can find lots of needed information. Also, the library has Master and Doctoral papers and Final reports on topics, researched by teachers and assistants, as well as external experts and associates, within the field of forestry and environment.
The UKiM FoF library is not of an open character and can be used only by teachers, teaching and research assistants, master students, doctoral, professional associates, faculty collaborators and students of the Faculty. Within the library there is a separate reading room with 42 seats.
In addition, the UKiM FoF library has an e-library, where you can find e-literature and professional e-materials of an open online character.
The UKiM FoF library is open every work days throughout the academic year, and the reading room is open from 8.00 until 20.00 hours.
