ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE FACULTY OF FORESTRY IN SKOPJE
The Faculty of Forestry in Skopje at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje includes the following 11 departments:
     Department of Botany and Dendrology
     Department of Forest Genetics and Tree Improvement
     Department of Seed Science and Forest Stands
     Department of Silviculture
     Department of Forest and Wood Protection
     Department of Game Management
     Department of Forest Techniques and Operations
     Department of Land and Water
     Department of Forestry Economics and Organization
     Department of Forest Management
     Department of Landscape Design
Within the Faculty exists the Forest Experimental Station (FES). The outdoor lectures are held in the objects managed by the FES, that are in Skopje, nearby the premises of the Faculty (dendropark, greenhouse, nursery), objects located in the settlement of Trubarevo (arboretum, seed site, seedling site and nursery, hunting site with feeding boxes, feeding site etc.), protected area Ostrovo, object located in the town of Krushevo (nursery, experimental area of 40 ha), object-experimental area of 1.5 ha on Kitka mountain in the vicinity of Skopje, as well as other facilities used for practical exercises and for academic and research work.
The Faculty also includes centers, laboratories equiped and used for lectures and for scientific research, library and professional and administrative services, such as Department of Services, Centre for professional training and career development (CEPROK) and Computer Center.
The management bodies of the Faculty in accordance with the legal regulations are following: Academic and Scientific Council (Faculty Council), Dean and Dean's Administration (Faculty Management).
The Academic and Scientific Council is consisted of all teaching staff of the Faculty (assistant professors and upper teaching levels), as of elected representatives of the students.
Dean and Vice-Deans are elected according legal acts and enactments from the employed faculty staff with a term of 4 years.
Faculty management is consisted of the Dean, Vice-Deans and members of the teachers- often Heads of the departments.
The Department of Services encompasses: Office for Financial Matters, Archives, Library with a reading room and Office for Student Services.
Rights, duties and obligations of the management staff are regulated with legal acts, with the Statute of the Faculty and with other University and Faculty regulations of general nature.
